1 - How do I place an order?

All the information on the products we provide and respective prices can be found at https://tiketa.pt . In the menu at the top, you will find a list of products divided into categories: iron-on clothes labels, waterproof object labels (e.g. crockery, babies’ bottles, school material) as well as tags for rucksacks, shoes, etc. If you wish to buy several types of labels, it is better to check out the bumper kits we provide. You will find the link in the menu.  The order can be placed by clicking on the “buy” button you will find next to each reference.

1a - What methods of payment can I use and how much is postage and packaging?

1b - Do I need to send proof of payment?

It is not necessary to send proof because the order starts being processed as soon as payment is made.

2 - Do you ship to the islands?

Yes, we do! We are Portuguese, our labels are designed, produced and sent from Portugal. That is why we do not have any restrictions on shipping to the islands.

3 - I have 2 children, can I split the pack of labels into 2 names?

We are often asked if it is possible to split the content of the references into two different names. Normally, these requests come from mums/dads of twins or brothers and sisters who are very close in age. We explain that it is not possible to print different texts within the same reference, because the print order is given automatically and it is just one. We cannot specify two different contents. What we suggest is that you choose a batch of colourful labels (printed with two models) to put the family surname on, or the two first names on the same label so that whoever finds the items knows exactly who to return them to, and then the mum and dad know at home that one model belongs to one child and the other belongs to the other.  
In the case of the photo, the Theme chosen was “Police”, the content for print was “Brothers Daniel and David”, Daniel’s clothes were given the labels with the policeman and David’s clothes got the labels with the police car. Everything sorted!

4 - Do you print labels onto fabric for clothes?

The labels available are only those on show at https://tiketa.pt . We cannot make labels in fabric because the labels printed on fabric are not as hard-wearing and durable as our iron-on labels.

5 - Do you make labels with logos or with that popular cartoon that’s on TV at the moment?

The articles we have at https://tiketa.pt must be printed according to the characteristics shown in the ads, since these are the templates de impressão we have available. The designs we offer were created exclusively for our brand. Currently, it is not possible to personalise the tiketas with logos ou images sent or with designs protected by copyright.

6 - Do you accept orders by phone?

So that all orders are processed immediately as soon as payment is made, they must be created on the online store. This process must be carried out by those placing an order so that they can check on the label simulator whether the label looks how they want it to, thereby avoiding any possible spelling mistakes, for example. It is not possible for the person placing the order to do this by phone. This justification also applies to orders made via email or through social network message boxes.

7 - Do you have a physical store?

Our products are sold solely through the online store. Although our website shows the address of the premises where we produce our labels, we do not have a store open to the public.

8 - How do you apply the labels?

All our labels are applied quickly and in a practical way. The instructions are provided with the ordered labels.

9 - Can you remove iron-on labels from clothes for when they’re handed down to siblings, for example?

Iron-on labels have specific characteristics which make it difficult to remove them, since their purpose is precisely to identify items of clothing for the longest time possible. If you wish to remove the labels later, we suggest that you place the label where it can be removed easily (for example, apply it onto the fabric washing instruction labels) or even place a new label over the old one.

11 - What should I put on Line1 and Line 2 of the labels?

Line1 and Line2 on the order form represent the text you wish to print on the labels you are ordering. If you are unsure what you should print on the labels, please consult the following link, which will help you to decide: https://tiketalabels.com/blog/que-informac-o-colocar-nas-tiketas.html/. Always pay attention to what you ask to be printed (always check the label simulator on the purchase page) because once the printing order has been given (it is given automatically as soon as payment is made) the request cannot be changed.

12 - I’m in a hurry! If I place an order and pay today, when will I receive it?

All our orders are treated with maximum priority. Under no circumstances are the machines at a standstill when we have orders waiting to be shipped, nor is it our practice to move some orders ahead of others just because someone is in a hurry or needs them more urgently. As soon as payment is made, the order starts being processed immediately and joins the printing queue, without jumping ahead of anyone and without being overtaken by any other order. For most of the year, orders leave the printing line and are ready to be shipped 1 working day after payment, or 2 at the most. But (and here comes the “but”) when school starts, and we receive as many orders in one day as we do in the entire month of February, for example, it is practically impossible to maintain this printing speed, even with the machines working day and night, as they usually do. At that time, the execution period might extend to 3 or 4 working days. This information will always be indicated in the mail you receive with the order details. It is important to realise that the time periods shown above are the time it takes to execute the order, and do not include shipping time. Shipping normally occurs from one day to the next, but may vary according to the destination zone and the shipping method chosen.

 

13 - Does someone need to be at the address to receive the order?

Yes, they do! In the same way that every customer keeps proof of payment, we have to have proof that the order was really delivered. That is why someone must sign for the receipt of the order when it is delivered by the carrier, or by the postman for registered mail. For many years, we gave our customers the option of having their order sent by first-class mail (where the order was placed in the mail box with the rest of the correspondence), but we had to abandon this form of delivery when we were no longer able to cover the damage caused by losses.

14 - How do I check out current promotions?

The promotional codes are normally launched and advertised on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tiketa.pt/) ,  Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/tiketa.pt/) or through our newsletter. It is through these channels that we publicise the promotional codes we launch throughout the year in promotions. However, there are 2 promotional codes, which are active throughout the year and which may be used even to purchase bumper kits. These codes are as follows:
